| M & M Cafe has been a Monticello tradition
since Jimmy the Greek in the early 1900's. The current 1930's diner-style
building is just across the bridge on Main St., a few blocks off the Sugar
River Bike Trail.
Breakfast starts simple or special at 6 a.m. weekdays, or 7 a.m. Saturdays. Omelettes to order, homemade muffins, and quiches are just some of the breakfast choices offered until 11 a.m. Lunch specials are offered weekdays for those wanting a "real meal." Traditional, terrific burgers and malts, plus sandwiches, homemade soups and dinner salads are also available. Be sure to save room for the homemade pies & desserts--they are worth the trip! Stop in for a nostalgic dose of Americana, great food, and friendly hospitality in a smoke free environment. The M&M Cafe is featured in the March/April 2003 issue of Midwest Living and in the 2nd Edition of the "Cafe Wisconsin Guide". |
