One of Britian's leading sweater designers, Jean's innovative combinations of intricate textiles, striking colorways and sophisticated styling have been widely influential over many years.  A self-taught knitter, passionate about good design, she's keen to pass on her skills.  She lectures widely and hosts yearly knitting and gardens (both in each) tours in the UK.  Her USA tour included San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, and Monticello.
 

Lucy is a former Merchant Navy navigating officer and now the owner of Tradewind Knitwear Designs Inc.  She is an innovative and  passionate knitter who designs and writes patterns to entertain the mind as well as the fingers.  Her colorful appearance is well known.  Details in her DVDs, patterns and books are amazing.  Her double knit blanket is on display in this exhibit.

Judy has professionally sold her unique knitwear under the name The Judith Collection both privately and at juried shows.  For several years she was employed at a yarn shop where she taught knitting classes and assisted customers with their knitting and finishing problems.  She is now exclusively teaching knitting and design classes with the emphasis on customizing desired fit.

Joan loves teaching knitters to reason out solutions.  Intriguing construction details, seamless knitting and ethnic styles fascinate her.  She teaches around the country in additon to answering technique questions on various internet knitting lists and Ravelry.  She has designed for knitting magazines and yarn companies.
